Sales Manager - B2B

Location: Remote
Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Green Gruff is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our team.

You will be instrumental in growing our sales team to achieve our business objectives and developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue. You are a hunter and can build and motivate a team to close. You will build and maintain strong client relationships and manage your sales pipeline to deliver maximum short-term impact and consistent long-term results.You bring a proven track record of delivering results and thrive in a performance based culture. Being able to build processes and pivot as required comes naturally to you! Our company is rapidly expanding and the landscape of our industry is changing daily. We need someone who can adapt and learn on the spot to drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Create, implement, and perfect new business hunting processes and tools.
  • Work with the CEO to develop and implement KPIs for success.
  • Stay focused on targets and provide ways around roadblocks.
  • Meet and exceed team sales quota by monitoring sales KPIs, forecasting, fine-tuning sales processes, and ensuring consistency of sales metrics among the team.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
  • Two to three years of experience as sales manager
  • Three to five years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance and achieving targets.
  • 3-5 years of progressive sales team management experience.
  • Sales experience in the US cannabis and/or pet industry is an asset.
  • Hubspot experience.
  • Experience in a startup environment is considered an asset.
  • Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company.
  • Team-oriented style and strong work ethic. Possesses a strong willingness to work hard to get the job done and setting an example for the team. Has a track record of delivering on ambitious goals.
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing change and to pivot as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Google, Hubspot, Slack are all strong assets.

The ideal candidate for the position must:
  • Be a sales oriented person who is extraverted and is motivated by a heavy commission based pay
  • Strong phone and email based communication skills
  • Comfortable working with call/sales quotas
